MURDER OF ERIC GARNER CONSIDERED JUST

When I say unto the wicked, Thou shalt surely die ; and thou givest him not warning , nor speakest to warn the wicked from his wicked way, to save his life ; the same wicked man shall die in his iniquity; but his blood will I require at thine hand.

I never planned on talking/writing this much- once again- about police abuse.

But- Christians- in my view- need to speak out on issues when they happen.

I could run down and give you an on-going- nonstop- case after case- litany of official misconduct- every day- by Cops.

Just a reminder- of some I have read/covered these past few years.

Cops use their data base- tracking phones- all the tools at their disposal- illegally- to find out information on spouses who are divorcing them- who are in child custody battles.

One tracked  info- planted drugs in his ex-wife’s car- and put the woman in prison- until he finally was caught- after a very difficult time- because the system works hand in hand- even with corrupt cops.

Cops- while enforcing the law- break it on a daily basis.

Oh- how about the cop who was having sex with a 15 year old [I think she was 15- or younger?].

This went on for quite some time- never reported by his fellow officers- until the girl went to the hospital- and at that time the law required it to be reported- that’s when it was dealt with- he’s in prison today.

How about the 25 years I worked at the Fire Dept.?

Many occasions where multiple officers were on top of a suspect- and the suspect could not breathe- and yes- died.

A Captain told me one day that these cops were killing these guys- yet- after their deaths- if they had any drugs in their system- which was common- these deaths were reported as drug deaths- which was false [99% of these victims were minorities].

As Paramedics/EMT’s- these suspects were plainly being killed- by what we call the Mechanism of Injury- meaning they died because multiple cops were on top of them- and they couldn’t breathe- yet- it never stops- nor do I think it ever will.

It was humiliating to see Eric Garner plead for his life- saying 11 times ‘I can’t breathe’- and yet- this murder is considered just- how can that be?

More than one time- driving to- or from work- I was pulled over illegally- I talked about these cases.

I knew the cop had no cause- I was in uniform-[which looked just like a cop uniform] as they approached my vehicle- as soon as they saw me- thinking I was either a cop- or some other type of law enforcement officer- they did not even come to the window- they left- realizing it was a false stop.

One time coming back from Kingsville- a constable or DPS officer drove up to my rear- doing about 100- I thought he was going to ram me.

He did not know I was a firefighter- never stopped me.

He obviously was trying to get my vehicle to swerve- and maybe do something.

I was still driving and called the local P.D. and told them some nut is running people off the road.

All of these guys were in uniform- on duty- carrying guns [these guys are a danger!]

I gave you cases of cops threatening people- making threats ‘disappear- or I’ll make you disappear’.

I gave the names- first and last- of the persons that told me these things- and the officer.

These reports fall on deaf ears- you say ‘wow- I didn’t know they could do that’.

Why?

Did you not see an actual video of an innocent man being murdered- and they got away with that.

I could go on- forever- but I think you got it.

What we saw in the Eric Garner murder- was a clear case of- well- murder.

Now- once again- the grand Jury said it’s ok for multiple cops- to kill an innocent Black man- father of 6.

I think it’s futile to try and deal with these never ending injustices- by going to ‘the system’.

Al Sharpton and others are trying to pass new laws that would require all innocent people murdered by cops- to go to the Federal Level.

I’m not against it- but the problem is systemic- in many ways.

I do not advocate violence- the Mayor of New York recently said he told his son- who is black- that he has taught his son when he is pulled over to be careful reaching for his cell phone.

The Head of the Police union called him a Moron [Oh sorry- moronic].

That cop should be fired- for publicly besmirching the guy in charge of New York- but if nothing happens when they murder innocent Black Men- well I think you’re getting it.

These cops operate out of a sense of impunity- whether it’s threatening – or murdering- people.

Running them off the road- using – illegally- the dept. computers- data bases- I mean these are NOT ONE TIME INCIDENTS.

I worked with them for 25 years.

THESE ARE NOT JUST A FEW BAD APPLES.

The average person on the street is simply not aware of it- because they have not dealt with it.

But if you are a Black kid- in a tough inner city area- maybe like Camden.

Yes- the crime rates are high- and I am not excusing that many of the crimes are committed by these kids in these areas.

But you don’t realize that many of the cops do indeed see these kids as having no value- some spend their days looking for excuses to ‘get them’.

I just told you how I myself have been illegally stopped- until the cop thought I too was a cop!

Now- what if I were a Black man?

Reaching for his license- after the cop asked- and then got shot.

Or the black Father of 6- who ‘might’ have been selling ‘looseys’-

No- the problem is systemic- and the system will never fix itself.

NOW- Unless you think the murder of Eric Garner was just- the bible says you must speak out- because surely we all saw- on a national level-a wicked thing.

Oh-no video on this one- we already have one.
