This is he, that was in the church in the wilderness with the angel which spake to him in the mount Sina, and with our fathers: who received the lively oracles to give unto us:

NEW- [Past teaching- Verses below]
As I showed up at the mission this day- just about everyone was talking about God. People were sharing with each other- some were praying for others. So I simply did a short video.
You just catch a little glimpse of the day. After this I spent some time with Andy- we visited his brother Huey’s grave- and had some good fellowship. Then I met some new friends from Tennessee. They have been here for about a year. The same thing- the discussion was about God- their past experiences in church. One of them said the spiritual atmosphere of this area was amazing. They have been seeing God work in a way they have never seen before. Just being on the streets. We talked for about 3-4 hours. It was interesting to simply see the journey my friends have been on. The questions about life- their own spiritual journey.
Many bible verses were brought up- and sincere questions about life.
God has ways of speaking to people- many of my friends have sought God- seen him work- and are simply on the journey.
It would take too long for me to try and copy every verse below- or show you the very interesting ways God was working.
Maybe over time you will see some of these new friends on video.
They have an interesting story.
Just like the others.
ONE MORE-
I had a good fellowship with my friend today- just caught a little of it on video.
We talked for most of the afternoon- and it was interesting to see how my friend found the Lord- yes- in prison.
But it was real- over time he saw the many divisions in Christianity- some friends argued for the King James Bible only- to the point where others who did not hold this same position- were- well- damned?
Then the time he went to a church- and the pastor told a man who could not walk ‘stand up and walk- act on your faith’.
‘What’s wrong with that John’?
The man had no legs [yes- if God wanted- he could have given him legs- but to have said it in the way my friend described it- sort of like blaming the man for not acting on his faith- well that is indeed an abuse of the way the gifts of the Spirit work].
My friend has gone thru many of the same experiences as some of us- seeing the good and bad of the church.
The other day I shared a testimony from my friend David- who I have known for years.
He too had struggled with addiction- and prison- the whole thing.
The next day I got a text from David- the first time in over a year?
I thought it was confirmation- sort of like God was using all the testimonies of my friends to reach out to others.
So I tagged this video to the one I made the other day- hope you get something out of it.

PAST POSTS-
We talked a little about church as community- here are some booklets I wrote years ago that speak on this concept-
VERSES [these are the verses quoted on the video’s]
But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
For to one is given by the Spirit the word of wisdom; to another the word of knowledge by the same Spirit;
But all these worketh that one and the selfsame Spirit, dividing to every man severally as he will.
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.
Ye are of God, little children, and have overcome them: because greater is he that is in you, than he that is in the world.
Blessed are the poor in spirit: for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.
O generation of vipers, how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
A good man out of the good treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is good; and an evil man out of the evil treasure of his heart bringeth forth that which is evil: for of the abundance of the heart his mouth speaketh.

For as he thinketh in his heart, so is he: Eat and drink, saith he to thee; but his heart is not with thee.
For they have sown the wind, and they shall reap the whirlwind: it hath no stalk; the bud shall yield no meal: if so be it yield, the strangers shall swallow it up.
As every man hath received the gift, even so minister the same one to another, as good stewards of the manifold grace of God.
Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.
In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.
