BIG CHARLIE-
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

.I tell the story of not putting on my Cross when I left the house. In the past when this happens- I find it strange that when I run into my friends- I don’t tell them ‘I forgot my Cross’ but at times they of their own accord give me one. On the video I tell that story and show you the Cross little Charlie gave me on this day. You’ll notice when I pull out the Cross Little Charlie gave me- I do have another one on. Yes- we went to another friend’s house before I made the video- and one of the girls- who I have known for years- got up and walked over- and yes- gave me a Cross necklace she had. So I was given 2 Crosses this day [I don’t tell them ‘I forgot to put on my Cross’- they seem to know- not be seeing- I always have it under the shirt].
NEW- I ran into Andy and Charlie today- I’ve known ‘Big’ Charlie for many years- he has gone thru some hard times- like many of my friends.
I decided to do a video- and you get to hear some of the wisdom my friend has gleaned thru the years.
If I had time- I would have tried to elaborate a bit on some of the points.
Tried to have maybe given a little more balance to some of the views.
But that’s ok- I think it was better for you to hear the things from Charlie’s perspective.
You do see how some of my friends identify with the characters in scripture- maybe in ways the average church goer has never thought about.
Jacob- Joseph- etc.
Some of the people in the bible were known for their cunning- conniving- and deceitful ways.
Yet- they were people God used- Charlie seems to have been identifying with these men of God.
My friends who have struggled with addiction- and have done these conniving things- yes- they  hoped they would never relapse.
They don’t want to have the reputation of people that resort to these things [conniving- etc.]
Yet- over the years- some have found themselves back there again.
And many of their experiences when they get to the end of the rope- is to curse God and try to walk away.
Yet Charlie has learned that you can’t.
They too bare a cross- of being seen as someone who is no good.
Someone you can never trust.
They identify with the figures in the bible who also were rejected because of real character flaws.
We also see the Josephs [who Charlie brought up] who for no cause of their own- also wound up at the ‘wrong end of the stick’.
Yet these men learned mercy- grace- they saw that what others meant for evil ‘God meant for good’.
When I met Charlie and his son many years ago- I saw the calling of God on them.
Especially his son who we call ‘Little Charlie’.
I actually have some good talks with little Charlie these past few months.
Big Charlie’s brother is a minister- in the Reformed faith.
When I first spoke to them over the years- I realized how they saw the particular aspects of scripture- from this point of view.
Sovereignty- Predestination- God’s choosing of us.
And for those who have read my teachings for a while- I am not totally in disagreement with them.
But I also avoid the more stringent view of some of the classical Reformed thinkers.
All in all- I think this message was good- to be able to hear it straight from the mouth of a person who has gone thru many hard times in life.
God uses the meek of the earth to speak to us.
Today- hopefully- you will hear.
ADAM AND CHRIST- I thought I wrote on this before- but I can’t find it [search for Adam in my past teaching- too many]
So- I’ll teach it right now.
The New Testament refers to Jesus as the last Adam.
The apostle Paul teaches about this in Romans and Corinthians.
In Romans he says ‘as sin came into the world thru one man [Adam] so the free gift of righteousness comes to us thru Christ’-
For as by one man's disobedience many were made sinners, so by the obedience of one shall many be made righteous.

Paul also says [I copied the verse below]] that Eve was deceived and Adam was not deceived- when they sinned in the garden.
Ok- Then why did Adam sin- disobey God?
He loved the bride so much [Eve] that he willingly walked away from the presence of God- to be with his bride.
Jesus never sinned [I corrected that above too] but at the Cross- he bore the penalty of sin- which was separation from God for the sins of man.
Why did he do this?
Because he loved the bride- the church- and in doing this he ‘walked away’ from God's presence [in obedience- not disobedience] and he did this for the love of his bride- the church.
So- in a nutshell this is one way that Christ identifies as the last Adam.
There are other pictures/types as well- but this is what we spoke about on today’s video-
Here are a few verses on Adam and Christ [more below]
Wherefore, as by one man sin entered into the world, and death by sin; and so death passed upon all men, for that all have sinned:
But not as the offence, so also is the free gift. For if through the offence of one many be dead, much more the grace of God, and the gift by grace, which is by one man, Jesus Christ, hath abounded unto many.
And not as it was by one that sinned, so is the gift: for the judgment was by one to condemnation, but the free gift is of many offences unto justification.
For as in Adam all die, even so in Christ shall all be made alive.
And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.

NOTES [Corrections]
I debated about posting this video- because there are doctrinal ‘mistakes’ that my friend made.
But I decided to post it- and simply clarify those points.
1- Charlie does say ‘God broke his own law’- now- God never broke his law- but what I think my friend was referring to was Jesus becoming sin for us
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin; that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.

It’s obviously not the same thing- but when Jesus took the sins of the world upon him- he was forsaken of God the Father- and was the substitute for us- Jesus indeed suffered the death of a sinner- though he never sinned.
Charlie talked about Adam and Eve- and I have mentioned some of what he brought up before- How Adam went into the rebellion against God- knowing what he was doing.
Eve was actually deceived  13 For Adam was first formed, then Eve.
14 And Adam was not deceived, but the woman being deceived was in the transgression.
I do see a type- symbol of Christ in this.
Jesus loved the bride [us] so much- that he took the penalty of sin- was separated from God when he died for us- and he did this so he could ‘be with his wife’- meaning he did his so we could be redeemed.
2- I ‘subtly’ corrected this on video- Lucifer is called ‘son of the morning’ [Verse below] Jesus is the morning star.
12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations! Isaiah 14
I Jesus have sent mine angel to testify unto you these things in the churches. I am the root and the offspring of David, and the bright and morning star.

PAST TEACHING [verses below]
These bible books are quoted on today’s video- here are my complete studies on them-

Here’s a book I wrote years ago- it fits as well-
This too-
Charlie talked about Jesus as the second [Last] Adam- here’s some of my past teaching that relates-
[more past links- teachings]
On today’s video I shared from CCCF and some of the verses from the Mass.
The Church is made up of all believers- and there is a unity in the spirit that we all have- we have all been made to ‘drink’ from that fountain.
For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit. Cor. 12:13
The bible- and the creeds- teach us that Jesus died- was buried- and rose again.
1Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
1Corinthians 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:
But was that it?
No- he told us that he would ascend into heaven- and then the promise of the Father- the Holy Spirit- would come to the church.
Nevertheless I tell you the truth; It is expedient for you that I go away: for if I go not away, the Comforter will not come unto you; but if I depart, I will send him unto you.  Jn. 16:7
On the day of Pentecost it happened- the Spirit came to the church.

Acts 2:1 And when the day of Pentecost was fully come, they were all with one accord in one place.

Acts 2:2 And suddenly there came a sound from heaven as of a rushing mighty wind, and it filled all the house where they were sitting.
Acts 2:3 And there appeared unto them cloven tongues like as of fire, and it sat upon each of them.
Acts 2:4 And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance.
The resurrection of Jesus was proof that the Father accepted the suffering of the Son- for the full satisfaction for the sins of man.
Romans 4:25 Who was delivered for our offences, and was raised again for our justification.
Jesus rose again- to die no more.
He has the power of an everlasting life.
Who is made, not after the law of a carnal commandment, but after the power of an endless life.  Heb. 7:16
He has given to us this same Spirit- that raised him from the dead.
Romans 8:11 But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also quicken your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwelleth in you.
This is the guarantee that he will finish what he started in us- the full and final redemption of the purchased possession- which is us!
13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,
14 Which is the earnest of our inheritance until the redemption of the purchased possession, unto the praise of his glory.
Eph. 1
We have eternal life now- and will share in his resurrection- both now- and at the final resurrection of the dead.
The apostle Paul teaches us this-
But God, who is rich in mercy, for his great love wherewith he loved us,
Even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ, (by grace ye are saved;)
And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus:
Eph. 2
20 For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:
21 Who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
Phil.
When the early believers saw Jesus ascend to heaven- they were told he would come in ‘like manner- as you have seen him go’.
Acts 1:9 And when he had spoken these things, while they beheld, he was taken up; and a cloud received him out of their sight.
Acts 1:10 And while they looked stedfastly toward heaven as he went up, behold, two men stood by them in white apparel;
Acts 1:11 Which also said, Ye men of Galilee, why stand ye gazing up into heaven? this same Jesus, which is taken up from you into heaven, shall so come in like manner as ye have seen him go into heaven.
This is the hope of the church- that he will ‘come again- to judge the living and the dead- and his kingdom will have no end’.
On the third day he rose again
in fulfillment of the Scriptures;
He ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again to judge
the living and the dead
he ascended into heaven
and is seated at the right hand of the Father.
He will come again in glory
to judge the living and the dead,
and his kingdom will have no end.
[Apostles and Nicene creed]
We have been born of the Spirit- the same Spirit that dwells in all of the church-
The wind bloweth where it listeth, and thou hearest the sound thereof, but canst not tell whence it cometh, and whither it goeth: so is every one that is born of the Spirit. Jn. 3:8
God has deposited gifts in us- by this same Spirit.
Now there are diversities of gifts, but the same Spirit.
And there are differences of administrations, but the same Lord.
And there are diversities of operations, but it is the same God which worketh all in all.
But the manifestation of the Spirit is given to every man to profit withal.
Cor. 12
Just like in the creation- the Spirit of God brought forth life.

Genesis 1:1 In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth.

Genesis 1:2 And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.
So he also works in us- to bring forth life-
We are ambassadors of Christ- who the apostle Paul refers to as ‘the Spirit’-
45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living soul; the last Adam was made a quickening spirit.
46 Howbeit that was not first which is spiritual, but that which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
47 The first man is of the earth, earthy; the second man is the Lord from heaven.
Cor. 15
But he that is joined unto the Lord is one spirit.
Cor. 6:17
17 Now the Lord is that Spirit: and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty.
 2nd Cor. 3
How can that be?
Jesus is the anointed one- the Messiah.
He became man- suffered death- and was buried.
By the power of the Spirit he was raised back to life- and after he ascended to the right hand of God- he sent us the Spirit.
Acts 2:16 But this is that which was spoken by the prophet Joel;
Acts 2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:
This Spirit testifies thru us-
But when they shall lead you, and deliver you up, take no thought beforehand what ye shall speak, neither do ye premeditate: but whatsoever shall be given you in that hour, that speak ye: for it is not ye that speak, but the Holy Ghost- Mk. 13:11
When we speak- it is our Father that speaks thru us-
For it is not ye that speak, but the Spirit of your Father which speaketh in you.  Matt. 10:20
We live- because he lived.
Being born of God- born of the Spirit- is a new kind of life- the life of God himself which was manifested thru Jesus-

John 1:1 That which was from the beginning, which we have heard, which we have seen with our eyes, which we have looked upon, and our hands have handled, of the Word of life;

John 1:2 (For the life was manifested, and we have seen it, and bear witness, and shew unto you that eternal life, which was with the Father, and was manifested unto us;)
We are really members of his Body- his church- and he is the head of this community- the Body of Christ-
But unto every one of us is given grace according to the measure of the gift of Christ.
Wherefore he saith, When he ascended up on high, he led captivity captive, and gave gifts unto men.
(Now that he ascended, what is it but that he also descended first into the lower parts of the earth?
10 He that descended is the same also that ascended up far above all heavens, that he might fill all things.)
11 And he gave some, apostles; and some, prophets; and some, evangelists; and some, pastors and teachers;
12 For the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry, for the edifying of the body of Christ:
13 Till we all come in the unity of the faith, and of the knowledge of the Son of God, unto a perfect man, unto the measure of the stature of the fulness of Christ:
14 That we henceforth be no more children, tossed to and fro, and carried about with every wind of doctrine, by the sleight of men, and cunning craftiness, whereby they lie in wait to deceive;
15 But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ:
16 From whom the whole body fitly joined together and compacted by that which every joint supplieth, according to the effectual working in the measure of every part, maketh increase of the body unto the edifying of itself in love.
20 And are built upon the foundation of the apostles and prophets, Jesus Christ himself being the chief corner stone;
21 In whom all the building fitly framed together groweth unto an holy temple in the Lord:
22 In whom ye also are builded together for an habitation of God through the Spirit.
Eph.
There are many mysteries in this kingdom- and it is often hard to articulate them-
How that he was caught up into paradise, and heard unspeakable words, which it is not lawful for a man to utter.
But there is a witness of the Spirit- that leads us into all truth-
But ye have an unction from the Holy One, and ye know all things. 1st Jn. 2:20
Which transcends our human understanding-
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and knowledge of God! how unsearchable are his judgments, and his ways past finding out!  Rom. 11:33
As believers- we wait for the hope of the second coming
Looking for that blessed hope, and the glorious appearing of the great God and our Saviour Jesus Christ; Titus 2:13
We confess that Jesus died- was buried- and rose again.
We confess his bodily ascension to the right hand of God-
This is the faith of the church-
Beloved, when I gave all diligence to write unto you of the common salvation, it was needful for me to write unto you, and exhort you that ye should earnestly contend for the faith which was once delivered unto the saints.  Jude 1:3

VERSES-
John 17:1 These words spake Jesus, and lifted up his eyes to heaven, and said, Father, the hour is come; glorify thy Son, that thy Son also may glorify thee:
John 17:2 As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he should give eternal life to as many as thou hast given him.
John 17:3 And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent.
John 17:4 I have glorified thee on the earth: I have finished the work which thou gavest me to do.
John 17:5 And now, O Father, glorify thou me with thine own self with the glory which I had with thee before the world was.
John 17:6 I have manifested thy name unto the men which thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them me; and they have kept thy word.
John 17:7 Now they have known that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are of thee.
John 17:8 For I have given unto them the words which thou gavest me; and they have received them, and have known surely that I came out from thee, and they have believed that thou didst send me.
John 17:9 I pray for them: I pray not for the world, but for them which thou hast given me; for they are thine.
John 17:10 And all mine are thine, and thine are mine; and I am glorified in them.
John 17:11 And now I am no more in the world, but these are in the world, and I come to thee. Holy Father, keep through thine own name those whom thou hast given me, that they may be one, as we are.
John 17:12 While I was with them in the world, I kept them in thy name: those that thou gavest me I have kept, and none of them is lost, but the son of perdition; that the scripture might be fulfilled.
John 17:13 And now come I to thee; and these things I speak in the world, that they might have my joy fulfilled in themselves.
John 17:14 I have given them thy word; and the world hath hated them, because they are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
John 17:15 I pray not that thou shouldest take them out of the world, but that thou shouldest keep them from the evil.
John 17:16 They are not of the world, even as I am not of the world.
John 17:17 Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth.
John 17:18 As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world.
John 17:19 And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth.
John 17:20 Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word;
John 17:21 That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me.
John 17:22 And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one:
John 17:23 I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.
John 17:24 Father, I will that they also, whom thou hast given me, be with me where I am; that they may behold my glory, which thou hast given me: for thou lovedst me before the foundation of the world.
John 17:25 O righteous Father, the world hath not known thee: but I have known thee, and these have known that thou hast sent me.
John 17:26 And I have declared unto them thy name, and will declare it: that the love wherewith thou hast loved me may be in them, and I in them.
Love not the world, neither the things that are in theworld. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.

Acts 9King James Version (KJV)

And Saul, yet breathing out threatenings and slaughter against the disciples of the Lord, went unto the high priest,
And desired of him letters to Damascus to the synagogues, that if he found any of this way, whether they were men or women, he might bring them bound unto Jerusalem.
And as he journeyed, he came near Damascus: and suddenly there shined round about him a light from heaven:
And he fell to the earth, and heard a voice saying unto him, Saul, Saul, why persecutest thou me?
And he said, Who art thou, Lord? And the Lord said, I am Jesus whom thou persecutest: it is hard for thee to kick against the pricks.
And he trembling and astonished said, Lord, what wilt thou have me to do? And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the city, and it shall be told thee what thou must do.
And the men which journeyed with him stood speechless, hearing a voice, but seeing no man.
And Saul arose from the earth; and when his eyes were opened, he saw no man: but they led him by the hand, and brought him into Damascus.
And he was three days without sight, and neither did eat nor drink.
10 And there was a certain disciple at Damascus, named Ananias; and to him said the Lord in a vision, Ananias. And he said, Behold, I am here, Lord.
11 And the Lord said unto him, Arise, and go into the street which is called Straight, and enquire in the house of Judas for one called Saul, of Tarsus: for, behold, he prayeth,
12 And hath seen in a vision a man named Ananias coming in, and putting his hand on him, that he might receive his sight.
13 Then Ananias answered, Lord, I have heard by many of this man, how much evil he hath done to thy saints at Jerusalem:
14 And here he hath authority from the chief priests to bind all that call on thy name.
15 But the Lord said unto him, Go thy way: for he is a chosen vessel unto me, to bear my name before the Gentiles, and kings, and the children of Israel:
16 For I will shew him how great things he must suffer for my name's sake.
12 How art thou fallen from heaven, O Lucifer, son of the morning! how art thou cut down to the ground, which didst weaken the nations!
13 For thou hast said in thine heart, I will ascend into heaven, I will exalt my throne above the stars of God: I will sit also upon the mount of the congregation, in the sides of the north:
14 I will ascend above the heights of the clouds; I will be like the most High.
15 Yet thou shalt be brought down to hell, to the sides of the pit.
Yea doubtless, and I count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,
I write unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I write unto you, youngmen, because ye have overcome the wicked one. I write unto you, little children, because ye have known the Father.
I have written unto you, fathers, because ye have known him that is from the beginning. I have written unto you, young men, because ye are strong, and the word of God abideth in you, and ye have overcome the wicked one.
Love not the world, neither the things that are in theworld. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him.
For if a man think himself to be something, when he isnothing, he deceiveth himself.
But as for you, ye thought evil against me; but Godmeant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people alive.
For the time is come that judgment must begin at thehouse of God: and if it first begin at us, what shall the end be of them that obey not the gospel of God?
Ye have not chosen me, but I have chosen you, and ordained you, that ye should go and bring forth fruit, and that your fruit should remain: that whatsoever ye shall ask of the Father in my name, he may give it you.

Note- Please do me a favor, those who read/like the posts- re-post them on other sites as well as the site you read them on- Thanks- John.#
