FISH STORY
John 2:1 And the third day there was a marriage in Cana of
Galilee; and the mother of Jesus was there:
John 2:2 And both Jesus was called, and his disciples, to the
marriage.
John 2:3 And when they wanted wine, the mother of Jesus saith unto
him, They have no wine.
John 2:4 Jesus saith unto her, Woman, what have I to do with thee?
mine hour is not yet come.
John 2:5 His mother saith unto the servants, Whatsoever he saith
unto you, do it.
John 2:6 And there were set there six waterpots of stone, after
the manner of the purifying of the Jews, containing two or three firkins
apiece.
John 2:7 Jesus saith unto them, Fill the waterpots with water. And
they filled them up to the brim.
John 2:8 And he saith unto them, Draw out now, and bear unto the
governor of the feast. And they bare it.
John 2:9 When the ruler of the feast had tasted the water that was
made wine, and knew not whence it was: (but the servants which drew the water
knew;) the governor of the feast called the bridegroom,
John 2:10 And saith unto him, Every man at the beginning doth set
forth good wine; and when men have well drunk, then that which is worse: but
thou hast kept the good wine until now.
John 2:11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee,
and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.
1Peter 5:1 The elders which are among you I exhort, who am also an
elder, and a witness of the sufferings of Christ, and also a partaker of the
glory that shall be revealed:
1Peter 5:2 Feed the flock of God which is among you, taking the
oversight thereof, not by constraint, but willingly; not for filthy lucre, but
of a ready mind;
1Peter 5:3 Neither as being lords over God's heritage, but being
ensamples to the flock.
1Peter 5:4 And when the chief Shepherd shall appear, ye shall
receive a crown of glory that fadeth not away.
1Peter 5:5 Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder.
Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for
God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.
1Peter 5:6 Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of
God, that he may exalt you in due time:
1Peter 5:7 Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.
